Rankings Overview:
The WPA rankings system will be of fered by the WPA for every region that holds a race series made up of 6 or more races.
The WPA ranking points system will be based on the number of participants in each race, more participants more points and/or the quality of the field based on past performances of the field.
The WPA ranking points system will also award higher point values for specific events that have established themselves within the paddling industry as "marquis status" based on the following: history, number of participants and strength of the field.
The WPA will post the updated standings on the rankings for each region and paddling discipline.
The WPA will recognize the overall ranking winners for each region and paddling discipline.
Look for WPA ranking system updates on the WPA website with the points structure and events to gain special exemptions and qualifying spots.
